Photography and The CO3 Dance Group

Contemporary Dancers: Lynne McConnell, Claire Morris & Sarah Gough, under the guidance of Jacqueline Greaves, took a group of school students and introduced them to the history of popular dance in Blackpool. CO3 Dance also worked with Blackpool Dance Team – The Tango Generation – a group of third-age ladies.

Funded by the Heritage Lottery Young Roots Scheme, and supported by the Arts Council and Blackpool Council the project's finale was a combined group performance at Bispham High School Arts College.

The photography was executed at Blackpool Tower Ballroom - a first visit to this venue for most of the students, a return to their teenage years for the Tango Generation.

I also produced a video documentary of the six month long project.
