Working during Second World War, Blackpool
Blackpool was home to the Wellington Bomber. Most of Blackpool's war work revolved around its manufacture. Again, as in the first war, women were welcomed into the male working environment as the men were called up - this time, when war was over, they didn't return to full time domesticity, the world had changed.
